Leandro de Lima Santos

Professor at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). Particularly ,PhD in Sociology (research line: Political Participation, Institutions, and Social Conditions of Democracy) from UFG, a Master's in Agribusiness (research line: Family Farming) from UFG, a Specialization in Agrarian Law from UFG, and a Bachelor's in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás (PUC-GO). Currently, he is a professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences of UFG (FCS/UFG), at the Graduate Program in Conservation and Sustainability of the Federal University of São Carlos (PPGCS/UFSCar), at the Graduate Program in Agroecology and Rural Development of UFSCar (PPGADR/UFSCar), and at the Graduate Program in Territorial Development and Environment of the University of Araraquara (PPGDTMA/UNIARA). He has conducted research in the areas of Public Policy, Rural Sociology, and Rural Economics, with an emphasis on topics such as agrarian/land policies, family farming, food sovereignty and security, and social capital.
