Ricardo Serra Borsatto

Professor at the Center of Nature Sciences at the Federal University of São Carlos-Brazil. My research interests are Agroecology, Rural Development, Family Farming, Peasantry, Rural Social Movements, and Rural Extension. Currently, through an interdisciplinary approach, I am dedicating my attention to understand the role (limits and advances) of the State (policies) and civil society (mainly social movements) in promoting more sustainable food systems.
