Gabriel Lourenco Brejão
Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from USP – ESALQ, Master's Degree in Environmental Sciences from UFPA, and PhD in Animal Biology (Biodiversity) from UNESP São José do Rio Preto. Assistant Professor in the Department of Biodiversity at UNESP Rio Claro since 2023. Conducts research on the impacts of human alterations and changes in land use and cover on stream ichthyofauna, particularly in the region of the Amazon Deforestation Arc (in the states of PA, RO, and MT), and collaborates with the National Action Plan for the Conservation of Endangered Fish Species of the Upper Paraná River Basin. Affiliated with the Graduate Program in Ecology, Evolution, and Biodiversity in the Department of Biodiversity at UNESP Rio Claro.
